This season, we are placing a powerful focus on the next generation of filmmakers through two core pillars:
- Young Austrian Cinema: We are breaking down silos by directly bridging the gap between emerging directors and sound teams. By fostering collaboration early in the creative process, we ensure that audio is integrated as a core narrative engine from day one, rather than left as a post-production afterthought.
- Practitioner Spotlights: Seasoned local technicians step up to share raw „war stories“ and critical problem-solving tactics from recent film sets. This provides younger professionals and peers with invaluable, real-world blueprints for troubleshooting on set.
